Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at multibuild.io and any associated subdomains or services ("Site"), provided by MULTIBOARD LTD ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms, together with any documents referenced herein (including our license, privacy policy, third-party terms, etc.). If you do not agree, you must not use the Site.

• User / You: Any individual or entity accessing or using the Site.
• Account: A user account created on multibuild.io (email + username) for purposes such as commenting, dashboard access, etc.
• Content: Any data, files (e.g. 3D design files), images, text, or other materials made available on the Site, including via third-party services such as Thangs, Circle, Nolt, or custom generators on MultiBuild.
• Membership Content: Design files or other resources accessible only to paying or registered members via Thangs or otherwise.
• Third-Party Services: Services outside MultiBuild that the Site links to or integrates with — currently Thangs, Circle, Nolt.

• These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom.

• By using the Site, you agree to abide by these Terms.
• By accessing Third-Party Services integrated into or linked from the Site, you also agree to their respective terms:

  • Circle Community Terms
  • Nolt Terms of Service
• If any Third-Party Terms conflict with these Terms, the Third-Party Terms apply for that service.

• You may create a free local Account on the Site (email + username) without requiring a Thangs membership — this allows commenting, access to certain pages (dashboard, account settings, etc.).
• You represent and warrant that you are at least 13 years old. Use of the Site by anyone under 13 is prohibited.
• You may delete your Account at any time; deletion is immediate and under your control.

You agree that when using the Site (or any linked services) you will not:

• Violate any applicable law, regulation, or these Terms.
• Upload, share or distribute malicious code (viruses, malware, etc.).
• Use the Site for unlawful, abusive, harassing, defamatory, discriminatory or otherwise harmful purposes.
• Attempt to circumvent any access controls, authentication or membership verification.
• Scrape, spider, crawl, bulk-download or otherwise attempt to extract data or content from the Site (or any membership-only sections) in an automated or systematic manner.
• Reverse-engineer or attempt to reverse-engineer any custom generator or site-side code.
• Reproduce, redistribute, resell, rent, license, or exploit any part of the Site (or its Content) without express prior written permission.
• Frame, deep-link, or embed (e.g. via inline linking) the Site in a way that misrepresents association, endorsement, or origin.

These restrictions help protect our intellectual property and the rights of content creators, and also ensure compliance with database/copyright law and contractual protections.

• All rights, title and interest in the Site, its design, code, layout, and non-user-generated content are owned by MULTIBOARD LTD (or its licensors), except as explicitly licensed to users.
• All digital design files (including generator outputs) are licensed under the MultiBoard License, available at: MultiBoard License
• Under the license: users may download and 3D-print for personal use; they may remix and modify files; but they may not redistribute original unmodified files or use them for commercial printing/sale — unless they have a valid commercial subscription via Thangs (or other authorised agreement).
• Any custom parts generated on the Site are explicitly included under the same license. By using the generator you acknowledge that MULTIBOARD LTD retains rights in those outputs.

• Our Site uses Third-Party Services (Thangs, Circle, Nolt) for membership verification, community/discussion, file hosting or feedback.
• Any content you post on those services is governed by their own terms. We are not responsible for moderation or legal compliance of user-generated content on those platforms.
• We do not claim ownership over user-generated content on those third-party services. Your rights remain with you — but you are responsible for compliance with the relevant Third-Party Terms.
• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Site (see Section 8) if we believe your use of third-party services violates our Terms or those third-party terms.

• We may suspend or terminate your Account, membership access, or license privileges at any time, with or without notice, and for any or no reason (including, but not limited to, violation of these Terms, license violations, abusive behaviour, suspected fraud, etc.).
• Upon termination, your rights to access membership-only Content or use Site services will cease immediately. Any license granted (e.g. for printing or personal use) remains subject to the restrictions in the MultiBoard License.

• The Site and its Content are provided "as is" and "as available." We make no warranties — express or implied — about suitability, safety, quality, performance, or fitness for any particular purpose (including load-bearing, structural use, or human safety).
• Users print, use, or otherwise rely on 3D-printed parts entirely at their own risk. We disclaim liability for any damage, injury, loss, or malfunction arising from the use (or misuse) of printed parts.
• We do not guarantee that the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue part or all of the Site at any time, without prior notice or liability.

• We may update these Terms at any time.
• When we do, we will update the "Effective as of" date. Continued use of the Site after such changes will constitute your acceptance of the new Terms.

• Use of the Site may involve collection, storage, processing and transmission of personal data (e.g. email, username). We maintain a separate Privacy Policy explaining how we process such data: Privacy Policy
• Your data may be stored and processed in the United Kingdom, the European Union, and other countries through our third-party service providers (such as Supabase, PostHog, and Bunny CDN). Where data is transferred internationally, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
